About Policy Gradients

Policy Gradients is a project of the AI team at the Foundation for American Innovation. We write for the builders shaping AI and the policymakers shaping its rules, with the belief that neither can get it right without the other.

Dry ink only captures the capabilities of yesterday’s technology. We approach AI governance as a moving-target problem, examining frontier models, the institutions governing them, and the worlds they are about to reshape.

We are not neutral on what comes next. Ensuring that the future is one worth racing towards is a policy problem to be solved.
